About the Author
Hi there! My name is Prue Wilks, the author of Remember This When There’s Someone You Miss.
In 2025 our lives were turned upside down when we lost my best friend, husband and father to our 2 beautiful daughters, Jake. Faced with unimaginable grief, writing became an outlet for me. Not only did writing become a way for me to process the sudden loss of Jake, this book has become a legacy for my daughters, in memory of their dad.
My heart and soul has gone into this book and I hope that it can offer comfort, hope, and reassurance to any other young readers who may be navigating grief and loss.
